I made a little video of the painting I did a while ago, "All Her Dresses". Here it is as promised.
Still trying to work on my encaustic course which I am two weeks behind on, ouch. Will post some work if I get some done.
Hope all are well.

Loved it!
It completely draws you in and puts you in a trance watching it transpire!
This is totally amazing. I wanted it to go on and on and on and on and .....well you get the picture!
I love watching your process! And the music you select is perfect. Once again I'm in awe of your talent, Roberta!
You make me think about my granddaughters with this little movie... What a wonderful way of making art. With a steady hand and knowing on what path you are. The dresses are beautiful. You truly are an "artiste". In the real sense of the word. I wished I had a quarter of your skills... Great piece of work!
Wow Roberta, this was awesome. You really have this video production thing down. The music was perfect. Can I ask a question - I noticed you had some little scraps of paper in a liquid of some sort before applying them to the canvas. Is that water or the matte medium? I've been experimenting with different ways to apply my paper to the surface so I'd love to know what method you think is best.
Thanks! I love the feedback guys! Ann Marie,tThe stuff that was in the white porcelain dish were paint skins. I use porcelain dishes for that reason. Once the paint dries, if I fill it with water they lift off and I use them as "scraps" on my canvases!
xo!
I had the same question as Ann Marie and you answered it! What a cool, creative idea!! Nice job on the video production too - awesome! What video editing program are you using?
Windows Live movie maker. It is a free download! Really easy and fun to use too.
